We built Observiply Oncall to provide a simple user interface for end-users, deep integration support for engineers, and to modernize the on-call experience for everyone on shift.
Philosophy
Our vision at Observiply is simple:
Software solutions need to be easy to onboard, easy to use and easy to scale.
Oncall was built by what we'd term "user-facing engineers". Faced with the difficult task of onboarding a large range of users from varied backgrounds facing different objectives, we needed a solution that was intuitive to understand and easy to let users self-manage .
Rather than building a solution that we asked others to conform to, we sought input from a variety of inputs early on to drive the design. This results in an elegant frontend that many teams verbally expressed appreciation for.
